Overview

We have recently relocated to our new 32,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility in Covina, California.

Mil-Spec Magnetics, Inc. specializes in the precision manufacturing of high-quality, high-reliability magnetic components,
including transformers, inductors, and capacitors for defense, aerospace, and mission-critical applications.

Over the years, we have earned the trust of leading organizations such as Honeywell Federal Manufacturing & Technologies,
Sandia National Laboratories, Boeing Satellite Systems, Raytheon, Lockheed Martin, L3Harris Technologies, Cisco,
and General Atomics through our unwavering commitment to quality, consistency, and reliability.

Our products are utilized in some of the most demanding environments and applications, including U.S. military systems,
submarine and shipboard power conditioning systems, military communications equipment, aerospace platforms,
and space-qualified applications where performance and dependability are critical.

As a company dedicated to continuous improvement and strict quality standards, we maintain AS9100 certification,
ISO 9001 certification, and International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) registration. We are also on schedule
to achieve CMMC Level 2 compliance by November 2026 as part of our continued investment in
cybersecurityand the protection of sensitive defense-related information.

Design Review

Have a design but want to check its manufacturability? With over 50 years experience in manufacturing, we can check production viability and recommend improvements to streamline production.

Partnership

Over the years, we have partnered with our customers and developed proprietary manufacturing tools, fixtures, processes and procedures, to make the impossible, possible.

Prototyping

We are a custom job shop, who can accommodate one-off prototypes, with quick turn around. We have state of the art test equipment to electrically characterize prototypes and can provide full test reports, allowing you to fully vet a design; streamlining the whole process in house.

Manufacturing

For large-scale production, we develop specialized procedures, tooling, and fixturing that improve productivity and ensure consistency throughout the life of the program. We electrically test across the product life cycle, and throughout the manufacturing process, to closely monitor trends, and ensure all parts not only meet requirements, but remain consistent.
